DIYU Orientation Audio

For those of you who weren’t able to attend Orientation, you’re in luck. We recorded the whole thing so you can catch up with the rest of the class by the time we hold DIYU again (that is yet to be determined). You have two options for your listening/viewing pleasure:

  1. Audio with slide/show just as if you were there / iTunes AAC file (30.6MB)

  2. Audio with no images / MP3 (22.85MB)

Am sorry to have missed tonight. Was attending a reading by Kathe Eastburn of her soon-to-be-published book of the triple murders committed by a group of Palmer High School students.

I used to work for Kathe at the Independent and hope this, her first book with another on its tail, will be a success. I know she feels good about the book, but I'm hoping the book will be financially successful for both Kathe and the publisher who took a calculated gamble on Kathe. Who knows? Maybe they can sell movie rights.

The book, which should be out in November or December, is called Simon Says. Look for it in late fall. I'm sure there will be reviews and book signings then.
